BAYKO 'New Series' Instruction Manual -
Model Cards 1939 to 1941

These cards were included, in appropriate quantities, with 'New Series' sets #3 to #6, and corresponding conversion sets, from 1939 until the war halted BAYKO production in 1941, or early 1942 at the latest.
They were issued in addition to the sets #1 and #2 instruction manual and were, of course, also included with the appropriate conversion sets.
Just to confuse matters, you may notice that several of the cards have more than one page number on them. These extras refer to the page numbers of models shown in the 'New Series' manuals which were printed without these detailed diagrams.
We now know that there were a further two versions of 'New Series' manuals which were published post-war, however, we have no knowledge of any post-war production of sets large enough to need Model Cards, and my guess would be that there were none.
One aesthetic detail which you may find of interest, the cards were fastened together with short lengths of string which was [off] white, but with a blue strand integrated into it.
The over all impression of this approach is not of the highest quality, and, indeed, the print quality of many surviving examples, tends to support this, though that may reflect 'wear and tear' rather than the printer's efforts.
There are 30 'pages' in total and they are all printed in black ink on matt, white card.

Size - 226mm x 142mm = 8.9 x 5.6 inches.

As I said above, these cards were fastened together with two small, twisted blue and white string, which I can't replicate. However, if you would like to see the complete set of 'new series' model cards [almost] as the would have looked hot of the press..
