BAYKO in POLAND

I currently have no BAYKO documents from the Polish market, however, I do have a little information which strongly suggests that BAYKO was available, even if only briefly.

Thanks to 'The Times' on line archive - which I accessed via Liverpool Library Records Office - for this information.

The first information about BAYKO in Poland, was…

…an item in 'The Times' on March 26th, 1962 confirms that BAYKO was sold in Poland.

The same announcement appeared in 'British Toys' in May, 1962…

We now know that BAYKO was sold in Russia during the MECCANO era, indicating the soviet bloc was very much in MECCANO's sights…
