I believe that Plimpton deliberately targeted Belgium, with its dual French and Flemish culture, to drive the BAYKO market throughout France and the Benelux countries [Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg]. Yes I do know that somewhere approaching 10% of the Belgian population are German speaking, but there is no evidence [to date] of Belgian oversight of the German speaking markets. |
