BAYKO Adverts in Magazines

Certainly BAYKO was advertised widely in various parts of the UK press in the 1950s and early 1960s, and, quite possibly much earlier. Although very much a minority spend area, as far as the BAYKO marketing budget was concerned, examples do emerge from time to time and I will add them here whenever I find them…
…currently I have just one to show you.
If you have any other examples that could be added to the site, then I'd love to hear from you…

'Everybody's Magazine' - November 1958

Everybodys Magazine Christmas Catalogue, November, 1958
I've been able, thus far, to find out absolutely nothing about this magazine, I'm afraid.
There was a much earlier, muckraker in the early decade of the twentieth century in the U.K. and a later Australian one, more focused on personalities, but this one stumps me.
However, the image [left] is part of a Christmas advertising supplement issued in November, 1958 and, as you can see from some of the content, was addressed, at least in part, to the male of the species - an interesting deviation from the norm.

The BAYKO advert, set at its jaunty angle, is in the bottom left hand corner of the page…
…click anywhere on the image to display a larger image of the BAYKO advert itself.

As I said above, if you have anything which would fit into this section, then I'd love to hear from you…
